Senior Analyst - Marketing Database at Penske Logistics in Reading, PA
Position
Summary:
This position will work with internal and external market data (particularly large datasets) to enable its' use to drive business growth. This individual will assist in developing target markets, identify company targets and measuring success of nurturing programs that grow revenue with target accounts. Major
Responsibilities:
Assist in the qualification and use of market database, advising the organization of data limitations and needs, helping improve data quality and usability Analyze available market and customer data to inform segmentation and targeting work Identify account targets from marketing database for use in nurturing programs Assist in defining database nurturing program measurement criteria, create reporting structure, pull data and develop a communication cadence Help measure business success measures such as:
gains in new customers and prospects from targeted accounts, share of wallet increase, etc.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, and/or Statistics preferred 5 years of database marketing, data analytics (marketing) for a mid to large size company Experience working with large databases, extracting, manipulating and understanding data, utilizing data management software/language such as SAS, Alteryx, SQL Practical experience supporting sales growth programs through campaign measurement and A/B testing. Marketo experience a plus. Experience with company internal data systems and business intelligence Exceptional written and oral communication abilities with experience presenting and explaining analytical outcomes in business terms Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, projects and differing deadlines Critical thinking and analytical skills Capable of understanding complex relationships and requirements Strong attention to detail Proactive approach to business problems and project needs Able to work independently and within an analytical team Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to work the required schedule, at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are also required.
