4K a year 23 hours ago 23 hours ago 23 hours ago The Human Relations Commission (HRC) HRC Clerk is the first point of contact for citizens who come into or call the HRC.
The HRC Clerk collects relevant information/paperwork and makes a preliminary evaluation.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support, including but not limited to (front desk, walk ins, process mail, answer telephones, handle complaints, and provide information as applicable).
Maintains files, reports, and log books for Commission Office.
Assist clients applying for assistance thru HRC's various programs.
Schedule appointments for clients, travel plans for staff Conduct landlord/tenant mediation as needed.
Enter cases into appropriate data systems Explain the intake process to the complainant in understandable terms and provide relevant written materials Collect and record all pertinent information from the potential complainant relating complaints and alleged acts of discrimination.
Assist the intake specialist by analyzing information to determine whether or not a formal complaint should be filed.
May prepare formalized charges of discrimination and supporting documents in an efficient and concise manner.
Prepare log of formalized charges and other data necessary for monthly reports.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Experience Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) Must type at 35 wpm with accuracy.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
