HR Generalist/Safety Coordinator (Part-Time)
Reading, PA Reading, PA Part-time Part-time $20 - $25 an hour $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is currently seeking a HR Generalist/Safety Coordinator to assist and support the Human Resources team with matters related to safety efforts for employees and on jobsites.
In addition, this role will assist with policy development and the reporting of safety requirements.
Additional responsibilities include creating and implementing safety plans, conducting safety observation reports and inspections, delivering safety training and orientations, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Maintain the records associated with compliance of the Company Safety Program.
Perform jobsite visits documenting all required information.
Recommend and design new workplace health and safety programs relative to risk management and hazard abatement.
Perform safety orientations for new hires.
Coordinate employee safety training to meet annual and intermittent requirements.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solving and leadership skills.
Experience with HR and Safety required.
3-5 years of related HR and recruitment experience preferred.
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local occupational safety regulations.
Experience with safety compliance platforms such as ISNetworld and Avetta a plus.
