Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, administration of payroll, benefits, and leave of absence.
Administration, oversight, and enforcement of company policies and practices.
Education/Relevant Work
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
Minimum of three years' experience as an HR Generalist.
Essential Functions (Primary Duties):
Assists with HR-related matters.
Participates in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
Recommends strategies to motivate employees.
Assists with recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing offer letter.
Administers all aspects of employee relations.
Coordinates employee development plans and performance management Performs orientations, onboarding, and maintains personnel records.
Manages the organization's HRIS and prepare reports.
Produces HR reports.
Processes payroll Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Other duties as assigned.

Thorough understanding of labor law and employment equity regulations Excellent HR administration and people management skills Thorough knowledge of HR functions and best practices Extremely organized with excellent record-keeping skills Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Suite and related HR software Function as part of a team, working cooperatively with colleagues and supervisor.
Meticulous attention to detail Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively identify issues and develop a solution.
