Some duties include but not limited to faxing, scanning, calling patients, and following up on the prior authorizations.
Other duties may be assigned.

Medical Records - - Taking phone calls from satellite offices, doctors and lawyers offices for medical record requests - Creating an invoice for preparation and sending records.
- Covering fax server and tasking patient records to appropriate staff member - Mailing/faxing records to appropriate office in a timely manner - Scanning documents in EMR to complete charts Assisting Surgical Coordinators - Helping the Surgical Coordinators to send appropriate surgical documentation to patient and corresponding facilities.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorization if necessary.
- Ensuring that Pre-Certifications are free from errors, processed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Making surgical packets when coordinators run low.
