Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and send the caller to the proper staff Confirm correct quantities and unit prices have been charged on vendor invoices Resolve any incorrect vendor invoices with vendors Code and enter vendor invoices into accounting software Review vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been accounted for and entered into accounting software Respond to vendor inquiries Open accounts with new vendors by providing credit information Maintain positive relationships with vendors Greet office guests Distribute mail Respond to customer inquiries Pursue collections of past due customer accounts including calling customers and resolving any issues delaying payment as needed Access computer and physical records to provide data to others Maintain organized accounting files Other responsibilities as directed or assigned Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
