Riverfront Federal Credit Union was founded in 1948 as the RDG Reading Federal Credit Union to serve the employees of the Reading Railroad.
Through the years, other organizations and companies were permitted to join RDG and to reflect our expanded field of membership, we changed our name in 1987 to Riverfront Federal Credit Union.
Additional growth came in 2008 when we were granted a charter amendment to allow anyone who currently lives, works, worships or attends school in Berks County, Pennsylvania or is a legal entity doing business in Berks County to join.

What you'll be doing:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Executive Management team and the Board of Directors.
They assist with scheduling and daily time management, preparation of documents including board packets, policy and memos.
They coordinate meetings, takes minutes, composes correspondence through multiple forms of communication and organizes electronic files on the network.
They are responsible for performing job duties, both in business and personal contexts to assist the Executive Management team in accomplishing the tasks that are associated with managing one's personal and/or business life.
Performs a variety of administrative and executive support tasks that are highly confidential and sensitive Reads and screens incoming correspondence and reports; makes preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and organizes documents; handles some matters personally and forwards appropriate materials to the appropriate manager Receives and screens incoming calls and visitors, determines which are priority matters, and alerts the Executive Management team accordingly Composes correspondence on behalf of Executive Management Reviews, proofreads and edits documents prepared for the Executive Management's signature Coordinates collection and preparation of financial and operations reports for monthly Board meetings Acts as liaison between Executive Management, Subordinates, the Board and others by transmitting directives, instructions and assignments and following up on the status of that communication Coordinates and facilitates the Executive Management team's calendars to arrange appointments and meetings and follows-up with appointment reminders.
Schedules and coordinates meetings for Management and updates Management on status of issues before scheduled meetings.
Maintains agreements/scheduling and calendar for the credit union's community spaces.
Liaises with primary points of contact for group's use and communicates expectations for parking, etc.
Assists the COO with contact/appointments for facility related needs including 3rd party vendors, etc.
Serves as the community coordinator for the credit union, facilitating donation requests for the COO and VP of Marketing.
Organizes donation meetings, collection of funds and/or items from the staff along with check presentations/photo opportunities.
At times will be required to attend community related meetings and/or events on behalf of the members of Executive Management.
Prepares agenda and collects materials for meetings, takes meeting minutes and distributes post-meeting minutes for comment and edit What you'll bring to the team:
High school degree or completion of specialize course of study Minimum three years of similar or related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite Calendar/Schedule Management Knowledge of general office administration practices and procedures Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information Possess interpersonal skills in working with others Ability to comprehend, organize and prioritize Must be able to lift 25 lbs MUST possess a valid driver's license and maintain valid collision and liability coverage on operating vehicle What'll you get:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
