Summary:
Berks Latino Workforce Development Corp.
is looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our office staff.
In this role, you'll play a critical role in keeping our office a positive, welcoming, and productive environment.
You'll also get the chance to interact with all levels of staff and various students and partners.
The Office Assistant is responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in the office setting at Berks Latino Workforce Development Corp.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain case management records in our internal database.
Welcome visitors to Berks Latino and field their needs to staff.
Handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
Produce reports, as requested.
Schedule appointments Take and deliver messages.
Collect, file, and organize office documents, such as reports and confidential records.
Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and distribute office supplies as needed.
Create documents, maintain databases, and send emails.
Prepare documents for meetings.
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
Represent organization at community outreach events.
Maintain contact lists.
Event planning.
Any additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (required) A strong knowledge of computer software applications is essential.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish are required.
Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills Highly organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
