Responsibilities:
The position processes and interprets patient diet orders prescribed by the physician.
They use Nutrition Management Software and hand-held technology to function as a communication liaison between the patient, nutrition personnel and other health care team members regarding food and nutrition issues.
They are responsible for providing instruction to assisting the patient with making diet compliant menu selections, and providing high quality food, encouraging nourishment food choices and providing customer service.
