Software QA Engineer

Due to continued growth, we are looking to build out our Software QA group. This role is a member of our Warehouse Controls System (WCS) software development team.
The primary responsibility of the QA Engineer is to provide test and data automation for Software QA and Software Development for testing both in-house and on-site at customer distribution centers. This includes the technical automation needs for implementation of functional, regression, system and performance testing, in addition to maintaining and improving the automated testing and build environment.
Required Experience:
BS in CS or Engineering discipline or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a combination of Software Quality Assurance, Software Development or QA Automation Engineering roles.
Strong Unix/Linux experience
Experience working with Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience using a scripting language such as Bash, Perl or Python
Experience writing SQL queries
Strong understanding TCP/IP networking
Experience developing test plans and preparing test reports
Ability to work in a high-paced, highly dynamic environment
Desire to pick up and learn new technical skills
Knowledge and direct experience with agile testing methodologies preferred
Previous experience in Supply Chain
services

Some experience coding in C/C++ and/or Java preferred
Strong Oracle/SQL experience preferred
Experience troubleshooting from system log files preferred
Experience leading test
events

Experience with test automation tools preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
