BERKS CAREER & TECHNOLOGY CENTER (BCTC) is looking to fill the following permanent F/T (10-month/yr) vacancies to start immediately:
Job Coach - Candidate will work under the guidance of the School- to-Work Coordinator & teachers in providing on-site training and
support to students with disabilities for the
development of
appropriate vocational and interpersonal skills.
A degree in Education preferred. Training or exp. working with special education youth and also experience working in the service industry (i.e., custodial skills, grounds keeping, hospital environment and/or food service) a plus. Knowledge and/or experience with ADA, IDEA and various state regulations related to students and adults with disabilities. Starting salary $12.25/hr. Application deadline: on or before

Service Occupations
Instructor - Candidate will have appropriate PA teaching certification in Family & Consumer Sciences or qualifi-
cations to obtain such certification. A degree in special education or experience working with high school
students with disabilities preferred. Actual work experience in building & grounds maintenance and/or culinary arts a plus. Application dead-

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
