Made In The USA Undercarriage Pressure Washer Attachment For for sale in Reading, PA
A couple years ago I looked for a cost effective method to wash winter road dirt off the undercarriage of my vehicles. It seemed there was nothing available between a $50-75 cheap imported model to a $4-500 undercarriage cleaner for a large pressure washer. Other designs looked very homemade and cumbersome. I came up with this design all on my own and drew it up on CAD, cut it, and bent it myself (since I worked at a metal working shop). I put wheels on it and it worked far better than I expected it to. I used it especially at winter time but for the most part it stayed in my garage. I got the inspiration to market it on the Ebay platform since that was working very well for the items I sell for the charity, Christian Aid Ministries. It is made of 16 Gauge steel and powder coated black. The hose and fittings are hydraulic components with a rating up to 7600 PSI. (Note: the tip supplied is only rated for 4000 PSI. ) The quick connect fittings are Stainless steel so they don't become rusty and they should connect to most pressure washers with this type of quick connect. The overall length with the hose is 37" and the main steel body is 30" long. It comes with a 25 Degree nozzle but you can replace it with other tips which you probably already have for your pressure washer. For example: You could use a 40 Degree tip for washing underneath a sports car (washer has 4" clearance), use a 15 Degree tip for an SUV, and a 0 Degree tip for cleaning mud off the bottom of a pickup truck, etc. The 4" wheels do surprisingly well over stones and uneven surfaces. You can tighten the lock nut at the nozzle end if you are planning to keep one tip in all the time, or leave it a little looser so you can switch out tips a little easier. At the other end, there is a rubber sleeve over top the hydraulic hose so you can tighten the hose at the perfect position to change out the tip. (Without that rubber sleeve, the hose will move once you take the tip off. ) Use a flat screw driver to lift the elbow up if changing out the tip is difficult to reconnect to the quick connect fitting. When washing behind vehicle tires, you can use your foot on the back wheel to slant the unit to point towards the inside of the vehicle's wheels. Because the back pressure is pushing down, there is very little fatigue in operating this unit. (For example: If you were to use a 90 degree attachment for the end of the pressure washer nozzle, you would need to provide upward pressure with your hands and arms the entire time you are using the 90 degree attachment. ) The downward pressure keeps that set of wheels gripped to the ground while it leaves the back set of wheels to easily slide side to side-to steer the unit. The flexibility of the hose which is connected to the pressure washer wand allows you to stand at one spot and move the unit back and forth underneath the vehicle. You can wash an average size car or SUV from standing at approx. 12 different standing positions. A 1/2" Diameter hole at the end of the unit allows you to hang it up on the wall and it automatically drains any water out. A truly original design, for the home owner and on up-MADE IN USA.
