The top and the feet were sanded down to bare wood, stained in dark walnut and sealed with three coats of General Finishes Clear Coat in the beautiful Satin sheen. To make this elegant piece fit in your modern home, the hardware was updated to brass colored drawer pulls. The drawers were upgraded by adding a drawer liner and wax to rejuvenate their look. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
